And as you can see from the machines, the end is nigh.” Those gathered with me — (former deputy finance minister) Mcebisi Jonas, (advisor) Mandla Nkomfe, (economist) Fuad Cassim, and Momo (the Treasury’s Ismail Momoniat) — all felt a sense of inspiration from him, even in those final moments."
